I love art because it is something that allows me to dedicate my focus and creativity into a specific work.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating ceramic pieces on a throwing wheel. Creating interesting and decorative pieces out of ordinary bowls, vases, etc. I like to use a mix of throwing and hand building techniques in order to bring basic shapes to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I like to take inspiration from many different places. A lot of my pieces are inspired by Japanese culture but I derive inspiration from many sources. I also love taking inspiration from other artists using different styles to create sets.
What would you do with $25,000?As a senior going into college the money would either be dedicated to education or investments for my future. I would love to spend more time on my artwork and something like this would give me the financial benefit to continue my work through college.
