Nekeia Baldwin

I make art because it’s the first way I learned to express myself. It heals, tells stories, breaks barriers, and sparks new ideas into life.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art is any creation that makes you think deeper, look from different points of view, or even helps people in ways we never thought were possible.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in everything life, the little small moments that most people forget over time to the biggest core memories in our lives. I find inspiration through soul experiences and glimpses of true expression.

What would you do with $25,000?

With $25,000, I would get the rest of my certifications and licensing and open my business "Black Art & Alchemy House" to start a foundation I can pass down. I would use some to set family assets, donate/charity, and get all the supplies I need to continue making art for others. With the rest, I would save and put towards getting into a house or towards getting married next year.
