I create to explore the layers of humanity, translating the messy, beautiful, and unspoken truths of our shared spirit into art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite medium is sculpture, a passion that began in high school through working with casts, molds, and wire. As an aspiring dentist, I am naturally drawn to the precision of figure sculpture and the challenge of capturing human anatomy. The tactile process allows me to combine my scientific interest in structure with my artistic expression, creating works that are both technically detailed and vibrantly alive. It's where my love for medicine and art perfectly intersect.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my greatest inspiration in the vibrancy of life and the complex threads of our shared humanity. I am fascinated by how art creates invisible connections, bridging the gap between different people and experiences. To me, every element celebrates the human experience. I strive to capture that energy and turn the beautiful chaos of our world into a tangible expression of what it means to be alive. It's about making the pulse of our collective souls something you can see and feel.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win $25,000, I would invest the entirety into my educational expenses. As a rising sophomore in college, I am dealing with the high cost of getting an education. These funds would help alleviate the financial pressure of tuition and living expenses, allowing me to stay dedicated to my studies while also continuing to explore my passion for art.
