I love creating portraiture. People are so beautifully and completely different from each other in all sorts of way, I love capturing that. My work is unique in the ways that I use color.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my work depicts my favorite foods and childhood memories. I think everything is linked to childhood, and I love the innocence that comes from an authentic childhood memory. I’m currently planning a series of works that will embody this idea.
What would you do with $25,000?If I received $25,000 it would go to my future as an artist, wether that’s for my academics or exploring career opportunities. There’s so many things I want to try to create for PEOPLE as an artist, I just need the resources to do so.
