My favorite art to create is sculpture art which I discovered through pottery. in high school it was my only escape at that time. I also am a hair stylist and making people feel beautiful and like their authentic selves through their hair is such a magical and personal experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from compilations of others art work that I combine into something new. If it’s not that it’s something in my mind that I’ve created and want to turn to a real life vision. With hair it’s people words and creations that i have the honor to create for them.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would probably put that money towards a house down payment in this economy it’s hard for my generation to get into homes on their own let alone buy a home and so if I had this money it would put me one step closer to that goal. I live in a very chaotic home that can feel very negative so being in my own space would feel so liberating. And having a safe space for my siblings to visit would make me happy.
