Art gives me a sense of freedom. Art has structured my life in so many ways, whether it's music, drawing, painting, or writing. Art is Me
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My Favorite type of art to create is, drawing to painting, as well as writing. It gives me a sense of comfort and safety when I am not able to speak up with sound. I love to create any art whether it be hair dying to nail art, all the way to wire wrapping rocks. I am finding an interest in motivational speaking, learning to boost others gives me a boost myself. All in all I love to show in all my art that mental health is real and is very important for others to know they are not alone.
Where do you find inspiration? My Inspiration comes from trauma, pain, and mental health issues. I find ways to bring how I am feeling or what energy I may give off and try my best to make it a reality. My inspiration goes off of my life, my fears, my trauma, art has shown me a sense of freedom, it has shaped me and my personality. My inspiration comes from sitting with myself, and enduring what I fear, what I run away from in everyday life.
What would you do with $25,000?what would i do with the money? I would try and get myself back into school for psychology i would like to become a per support helper, so i am able to help others understand their mental health a little more as well help them with tasks. art, and creative writing. Books for school, needed wardrobe and shoe attire, and being able to have stable housing/transportation, as well as be able to afford more needed art supplies!
