Receive Text UpdatesPortraiture and layered painting are my strongest lanes. I love building color, texture, and presence until a face, memory, or moment begins to breathe. Whether I’m painting cultural icons, personal stories, or emotional abstractions, I’m drawn to work that honors presence and gives people a reason to pause, feel, and look closer.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in lived experience, music, family history, cultural icons, architecture, memory, and the emotional details people often overlook. My dyslexia and neurodivergent way of seeing have shaped how I process pattern, color, and story. I’m inspired by the human spirit—especially the moments where resilience, beauty, and identity meet.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would complete a 12-piece Healing Arts collection over six months instead of painting only to meet immediate financial pressure. The funding would support materials, documentation, studio time, and public presentation while helping me develop the programs I’ve built around art, emotional resilience, and human connection.
