I enjoy peacefully creating pieces of art that reflect my passions and personality. I am quiet and reserved, so expressing myself is my art.

My style consists of quick sketchy lines that take form through hatching and sharp edges. I blend between Asian and Western art-styles. Quick and erratic movements mixed with precise strokes that create the energy I wish to convey without keeping it weighed down by generic and rigid baselines. I try to avoid letting the anatomy of my bodies become breathless and predictable. So while applying a manga lens over my style, I try to appeal to anyone who has a passion for realistic and stylized art.
Where do you find inspiration?I grew up reading Batman comics, so I always had an interest in that style of art. From Todd McFarlane to Greg Capullo, I tried getting my style as close to theirs as I could. As I grew older, I began to gravitate towards the Manga and Anime style of art. I loved how the lack of color in manga allowed for more detailed and expressive art-styles that really set the genre apart from western comics. So I have tried adapting all those types of comics to my style. Very raw and detailed works of art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would help support my mother who I live with and am supported by. She encouraged me to go to Film School, but it didn’t work out because it wasn’t what I wanted to learn. She supports me by buying me art supplies and manga comics to feed my artistic hunger. So paying her back for all she has done for me over the years of my life that have built me into the artist I am today is the least I could do. Because art is the passion of my life, and she gives me more than enough to keep going forward.
