I make art to give power to perennial wisdom about transcendence and eternity. I love that art can give insight into the soul and the truth.

My favorite type of work to create is remixed images and oil paintings of saints and angels from the Renaissance and Baroque period. I love taking images, putting them through various digital processes and then creating them on canvas. I love making art that gives power to wisdom and the soul. I think it is very important to make art that reflects eternity, since we live in a world that values ugliness, trends, and a practicality that has no appreciation for beauty.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere! I am inspired by my interior life with God, Christ, Catholicism, the saints, nature, the entire history of oil painting, optical illusions, film, graffiti, Cathedrals, decaying architecture, animals, digital art and design, traditional metaphysics , music and original Buddhism. Just as many of the saints saw God everywhere, I see and am inspired by all the various forms of beauty, truth and wisdom that exist in the world.
What would you do with $25,000?I would make gigantic oil painting reinterpretations of my favorite Renaissance artworks such as Michelangelo's Pieta, Da Vinci's Last Supper, Bernini's The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa of Avila, amongst so many others! I would also use the money to visit Italy and Spain to shoot my own reference photos rather than having to rely on what's on the internet. I'd also love to be inspired by the architecture and design of the Renaissance/Baroque era while having a contemporary aesthetic.
