Art comes from the heart, it is something with full intent made with love. I love to paint. Expressing ideas and thoughts, as well as dreams is something I enjoy most about painting. Creating something from nothing or capturing a meaningful moment is something I truly enjoy and love. Whether building structure or emotion creating art for others to enjoy is what it is all about for me. I have painted my whole life but am finally becoming serious about creating true art.
Where do you find inspiration?I am inspired by family, nature, and dreams. My children’s innocence and creativity inspires me to capture moments and create the non existent. The awe of nature can stop me in my tracks. I love taking moments in nature to appreciate the beauty and wonder of this universe and special place we call home. Sometimes I have vivid dreams which I hold on to my thoughts and dreams for as long as possible. Inspiration comes at random, if you do not act on it, it may be lost forever.
What would you do with $25,000?Art has never been about making money for me. I love making others happy, enjoy the creative process, and cope with highs and lows. I would invest a majority of the money. And use the other portion to buy art supplies and materials. I would also take my wife and two beautiful children on a much needed vacation.
