I create art because it’s the one thing that calms my mind. It’s always been a great way to express myself.

I’ve always been into anything art but painting is my thing. Acrylics on canvas with heavy brush strokes and pallet knife work. Ranging from abstract, surrealism, contemporary, mixed media and art deco. I really started enjoying painting when my parents signed me up for private art school. That’s where I really started elevating my skills. Even though I attended the school one year, I learned a lot. From then on, everything else was self taught from books, magazines and videos.
Where do you find inspiration?Pretty much anywhere. It’s kind of random. Just whenever an idea pops up in my head, I go down to my studio and run with it. If I’m not home, I would either jot it down on my phone or draw up a quick sketch.
What would you do with $25,000?I would kick start my silk screen printing business. So I could expand my creativity onto another form of expression. Which is already in motion by acquiring the press and other necessary tools. Little by little I’m getting closer to that goal.
