Growing up in the middle of the desert in Las Vegas was a beautiful and lonely feeling with self reflection. I consider myself a lens itself
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to shoot bands and people as well nocturnal settings esp industrial atmospheres. Still photography mostly. What I hope to achieve is taking photogrpahy around the world. My focus is shooting other artisits specifically musicians however I would love to travel more of the world and focus on still photography of urban and landscape settings as well as portraits of Strangers. Ive always taken still photography and love capturing something I think I see and ending up with something different.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in being a lens myself. To have connection through disconnection is a wild feeling that inspires me more and more. Im a social but a bit of a loner and having that distance between the subject and I almost brings me closer bc Im not interefering with somethings true nature. However, if I connect with the subject more intimately that could inspire an unexpected but beautiful capture. Tolook through your window as a child in the hot desert is the foundation of my inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?Id help my mom and my dad and create a larger and better space to create with better equipment
