I need to create because my soul needs to manifest itself. The innermost depths of my existence come to light through my works.

I enjoy working with mixed media on canvas and wood, and experimenting with high-relief materials—vinyls, oils, and lacquers. With Symbolist connotations—geometric and abstract.
Where do you find inspiration? The body of my work takes pre-Columbian cultures as its point of reference—the legacy left by my ancestors: their masterful craftsmanship in goldsmithing, their cosmogony, and their balance with nature.
What would you do with $25,000?First of all, I would like to bring my family over. It has already been 11 long years since I last saw them. I miss a hug. I would like to rent a studio where I could work on my large-format pieces. I would buy some materials that I need. I would buy a turntable and dance with my beautiful girlfriend to "Evil Ways" and "Oye Como Va" by Carlos Santana. I would invite Johnny to my house for lunch so he could try Colombian food and then.. I'd save the rest of the money.
