I really enjoy creating illustrations for Children's Literature in the Fantasy genre. For the past few years, I've enjoyed submitting MerMay artwork to Instagram's artist community. Not only do I enjoy the challenge of this opportunity, but its amazing to see the expressions of other artists. My favorite artistic mediums are Digital Art, Colored pencil and ink pen, Watercolor and Acrylic.
Where do you find inspiration?As an individual on the Autism spectrum, I am a visual thinker. Finding inspiration through observing nature while walking around the neighborhood, on the beach or hiking trail; a song I am listening to that paints a cinematic scene for me in my mind's eye; or watching an emotive scene from a beautifully made and written animated film that intrigues me. My creative writing for Young Adult and children also brings forth new ideas and inspiration for character concepts and settings.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate half or all the $25,000 to PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network), a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting and finding treatment and a possible cure for Pancreatic Cancer. The rest of the money I would probably use to purchase digital art tools such as Adobe Illustrator to expand my expertise in art and illustration.
