Coastal themes and dreamy landscapes are what pull me in most typically. I love to weave in whimsical touches in subjects where wouldn’t be expected, or the beauty in objects or places that are often passed by.
Where do you find inspiration?My practice has cultivated deep ties to noticing the little things in life. A shell washed up on the beach often goes unnoticed, but it holds such beauty when picked up and appreciated. The mother of pearl sheen, the melting of blues, the layers of calcium that shape and grow like the rings of a tree over time. The art of noticing has given me more inspiration than any formal training ever could have, and it’s what inspires me to create and transform the imagination into something tangible.
