I found that creating art has evolved into a vital therapeutic need for me, functioning as a non-verbal language to process complex emotions

I honestly don't know if I have a favorite "type" of art. I kind of dable into a little bit of every medium, maybe this is because I have yet to find that niche, but mostly I think I just love to get the chance to create in any way! Expression can be done through so many things, I don't see a reason to tie myself down to one element.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my childhood experiences,my own children, my pets. I sometimes find it in the weather for the day. But mostly I find it from music, nostalgic rock n roll from my dad, or the sweet sound of classic jazz. I listen to a lot of Radiohead and Incubus when I am creating something more dark in vision. Sometimes I put on old cartoons from childhood and find inspiration through that. I feel from everything, which I guess is a good thing and a bad all at the same time.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won, I would take the money and complete my art studio building with it. I've been slowly piecing back together an older building on my property to give me that little sanctuary to be alone with my thoughts and art! Hopefully I could use some of the cash also for advertising and getting my art out to more festivals etc., sometimes renting the space is not in my financial favor.
