I’ve been a photographer for 20+ years and a makeup artist. Cemeteries, city scapes and the unusual are the subjects I seek and find comfort in. They are respected through every phase.
Where do you find inspiration?I find the inspiration in the dwelling scape of my mind. My depression, my anxiety, my PTSD - it all hurricanes and the only way I can find the control in the chaos is by jumping on the bus and finding something to shoot. Editing it all is the most rewarding part because I can really take in all the details and let them flawlessly and unapologetically be themselves.
What would you do with $25,000?I would help my mom obtain a car and help her move back to New Jersey. It’s the only place she knows as home and she needs the financial security to make her comfortable enough. I’d help her get a car and a place to lay her head. She came out of retirement at 70 years old because she couldn’t afford the bare basics such as water and food. Anything to help her, I’d do it
