My work comes from presence — I set up a structure — like a canopy and then something grows within it. The image isn’t imposed; it emerges.

I like to create art that questions how we see things. I’m drawn to work that feels different and out of the ordinary. I enjoy making pieces that are not fully clear, so people can see their own meaning in them. My art explores feeling, mystery, and the space between what is seen and what is felt.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration can come from anywhere — a place, a person, an event, a landscape. The possibilities are endless. It often comes from simply being present in the moment, and sometimes letting music guide the process.
What would you do with $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would stay true to my art while continuing to grow. I believe strong fundamentals matter and there is always room to improve. As I get better, I can help others grow too. I would support the kids I teach with better materials and space, and share what I learn through research. I’d also create simple workshops where people can draw freely. For me, it’s about going deeper and helping others connect through art.
