to create my own comic book universe. I was inspired to draw from my favorite artists, Akira toriyama, boichi, and Todd mcfarland.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is comic book art, from western style comics to Japanese style manga. However I prefer making manga style artwork because I love the simplicity of that style.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from nature, when I go for hikes outside in parks or even in downtown areas, I love looking at the scenery for some reason it just makes me want to create stories. In addition I’m inspired from other comics and manga, one artist that comes to mind is akira toriyama the creator of Dragon ball z, his work also inspires me greatly.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to start up my own Japanese inspired comic book story. The way I would form this story would be to inspire readers to create themselves or to have readers feel compelled to change their lives in some way for the better, I want people, after they read my comic to feel motivated to achieve a goal of their own and realize that if you put your mind to it anything is possible.
