Inspired by my kiddos, irony, simpleton humor, MCM, kitsch, nature, my spirituality, things tht piss me off, and things tht fill my bones
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create would have to be kitsch/junk assemblage art. Second to that, would be canvas painting w/ acrylics.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my children, my life experiences, my spiritualism and the Universe, in clarity, in nature, in humor and the ironic, any & all thing MCM, in kitsch pieces, in having empathy, being unapologetic in my beliefs, in underdogs, in the bad I'm seeing but the good I'm being, knowing the healing power of expressing creativity, learned patterns of people/society, in psychology, theories, ancient folklore, in the stagnantation of the conformed, and in both the ugly and the beauty
What would you do with $25,000?With the $25,000 I would help my daughter, Ruby, w/ a little updateing and redecorating of her home. I would help my daughter, Harper, pay some college debt. I would help my youngest daughter, Ella, prepare for the bigger picture in her life. And lastly I would donate $1000.00 to an arts related cause in Galesburg, IL. Haha....I'd need to limber up because that's alot of stretching of the dollars there ;)
