Creating helps me regulate my nervous system and stay present. I strongly believe that the act of creating has the power to heal.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I hold a degree in Visual Arts and currently practice Art Therapy. As an immigrant from Iran, art became a powerful tool for healing and self-expression in my own life. I enjoy working with different media such as ceramics, painting, and collage, focusing on the creative journey rather than the final product. Through art, I help people explore emotions, self-reflection, and personal growth.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from Persian motifs, everyday life, human connection, shared emotions, and the observation of nature.
What would you do with $25,000?It would truly give me a sense of relief after the exhaustion I’ve recently been through in my life. I hope to use this opportunity to rebuild my career as a full-time artist and Art Therapy practitioner, while also working toward opening my own art studio in Los Angeles.
