Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I create work that bridges disciplines and dissolves boundaries. My drawings are figurative, while my sculptures and installations use cultural geometric forms. I work where these approaches meet—where body and pattern, structure and expression exist together. The work confronts paradox and brings opposing elements into a shared visual language, creating connection and a sense of unity.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in mysticism, culture, and mythical stories, and in how my mind absorbs and transforms them. I see, read, listen, and live through stories, then allow them time to settle before translating them into my own visual language. I also work with everyday materials, taking what is overlooked and shifting its role through the work.i

What would you do with $25,000?

I would stabilize my life enough to work without interruption—pay down pressure, secure a studio, and buy time. I would travel to encounter new visual systems and return to build a body of work that carries those tensions. The rest goes directly into making—materials, space, and production—pushing the work forward without compromise.
