My favorite art to create invites reflection and dialogue. This transforms my art from a solitary act into a shared experience. Reflection processes memory, emotion, while dialogue invites others to respond and connect. Greater self-understanding creates empathy for others; it inspires growth, transformation and even peace. My most valuable art is a living process shaped by both artist and observer. It expands its meaning through the viewers’ perspectives.

Inspiration for art is everywhere. It can be an ant on a sidewalk, a stranger crying in the street, personal emotions, history, or a skyscraper reaching into the clouds. It exists in every form, shape, and scale, from precise science to the most abstract feelings. Often, inspiration is a blend of many inputs, gathered, filtered, and reshaped into something entirely new, becoming a reflection of what is seen, felt, and remembered, layered together in countless ways.

I’ve always envisioned a creative storefront studio where I can work on my art while welcoming people to come in and explore, not just my work but the work of others as well. I would love to offer opportunities to emerging artists seeking their first solo exhibition, giving them a meaningful starting point in a challenging world to break into, while fostering a shared space for creativity, connection, and exchange between artists and the community.
