My favorite type of art to create are paintings that show our beautiful Sonoran desert plants, mountains and sunsets! Mainly acrylic on canvas and watercolor but I've been experimenting with pastels as well. More recently I've been fixating on esoteric & sacred geometry art; I've found many people fear these subjects but throughout my studies I've found a deep love and respect of all religions and symbols that once confused me.

I find inspiration everywhere I go when I step outside; in the crooked branches and blooming cacti. As well as in or post meditation. I always seem to see a new creation in my minds eye just before opening my eyes or as im falling asleep; I tend to see different shapes (sometimes with eyes) as well of faces of figures I don't recognize.

I would use part of the total prize to help me finalize my move. Do some workshops; as I am a completly self taught artist. Pay for some mental health services. The rest to buy equipment to scan & print my own high quality prints, as well as better quality art supplies like paints, canvases, brushes, paper, and anything else I'll need to keep my art business and website going (packing/ stationary).
