Writing and photography are tied for being my favorite mediums. Writing has always been something I've loved from the age I could string words together, since then I've written tons of different things from short pieces to poetry and even short novels. When it comes to photography my knowledge is very new and limited, but I took it during my most recent year of highschool and fell in love. Since then, I've taken lots of photos but have sadly been unable to take further since the class has ended.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the creation of stories around the photos I take. When i see a beautiful forested scene, I think of what it has to say to me, of what I can say to it, and begin planning a photo from there. Playing with angles and settings endlessly until I feel as though the shot is exactly how it should be, then I take it. I want my works to say something important, to be remembered, I want them to make a difference to someone's life in whatever way they need.
What would you do with $25,000?Firstly, I would give my lovely cat all the wet food and treats she could want. Then I would put all the money towards my schooling at the university of Queensland Australia, I am taking a course in marine biology and plan to become a marine biologist upon graduation, as well as use my studies as a platform to spread environmental awareness.
