I create art as a form of meditation, its something i do solely for myself. Without it I would be consumed in the void of my thoughts.

I work with multiple forms of media, I do not necessarily have a favorite form of media. But whatever best expresses how i feel, and the message I mean to put out. Commonly I like to work with collage, pencil, and oil paints. With that being said, the media that captivates the most expression to me is oil painting, because if you look closely enough you can see the intention behind each stroke of the brush. Since it shows depth, form, and personality I would choose that as my “favorite”.
Where do you find inspiration?I take inspiration from artists who aren’t afraid to express themselves. Without feeling the need to appeal to societal expectations of what art is. People that understand that art is a pursued individual interest; specifically Francisco Goya. Early in his career he worked on “beauty” appealing to others with his art work. But loosing touch with himself, I can sympathize with that. The damage of conformity is shown in his “black paintings” which is simply a representation of how he saw the world
What would you do with $25,000?I would travel, to places without nonsensical, and distracting stimuli; somewhere quiet. This is where I would continue working or painting/illustrating what I can’t put into words. Selfish expression, with the intention of not having a spiritual depression and saving myself, then showing others a different lens through my art. After its been cultivated and tailored to my being.
