I create a diary of the subconscious—an evolving record of intuitive, unspoken feelings that emerge through the act of making.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite kind of art feels pure—work that challenges perception and the way we think. In my practice, there is no room for pretending or becoming someone else. How the work looks matters, but it isn’t the primary concern. Appearance is only the first point of entry, a way to invite the viewer in. What sustains attention is the inner space—the conceptual depth that allows for longer, more meaningful engagement. I hope my work reflects my authenticity and carries a distinct, personal voice.
Where do you find inspiration?I don’t pursue ideas or force them into being. My work is simple: I translate my feelings into three-dimensional form, without rules. I do this daily, for hours at a time. I don’t judge what is good or bad—each piece is simply different, like people. It’s like placing a single dot on a sheet of paper each day. After a year, there are 365 dots. Over time, as I continue, an abstract image begins to emerge—slowly and organically. I try to remain open and sensitive to what happens and what I feel.
What would you do with $25,000?The prize money would go directly toward my studio rent, covering a full year. This support would allow me to focus on my work without financial strain during that time. Thank you for your consideration.
