Creativity is how I work things out. It’s painting, photography, or digital media, I am responding to what moves and inspires me to make.

I love to paint, but lately I’ve been drawn to digital work. It’s an adaptable medium—flexible, scalable, and open to experimentation—allowing me to test ideas without holding onto them too tightly when they need to change.
Where do you find inspiration? Each piece starts differently. Here, I drew on iconic symbols, political power, and the defiant act of flipping someone off. The “xoxo” on the knuckles complicates the gesture, softening its aggression, while pink—often coded as feminine—is pushed into something more aggressively butch.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m a pragmatic person, so I would use part of the $25,000 to stabilize my living situation—covering rent and settling some debt. With the rest, I’d invest in travel, seeking out contemporary art across disciplines to inform and push my work forward.
