I’m an Iranian artist based in Brooklyn, NY. I create art to feel/tell my story and connect others through emotions and perspectives.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI like creating work that allows people to feel and interpret it in their own way. Whether I’m experimenting with sound, visuals, or material, I focus on creating space for personal experience rather than a fixed meaning. I’m also interested in how art can bring people together and remind us of our shared humanity and the emotions we all move through with an emphasis on connection.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through my past, my present, and through curiosity itself. Memories, stillness, conversations, observations, and emotional shifts. My background as an Iranian artist also shapes how I see and interpret the world. I’m drawn to contrasts: softness and tension, clarity and ambiguity. I allow myself to observe without forcing meaning, letting that process naturally translate into form.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funding to deepen my practice while also supporting access to art education for children from low-income backgrounds. It would allow me to expand my studio, invest in materials, and create space for teaching and community engagement.
