I create art, because even on the days I don’t want to, I know it’s what I was destined to do. I find my way back to it in everything I do.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Anything that involves me creating, I love. Whether that entails painting, sculpting, or working with textiles. Mixed media painting is what I always tend to lean towards.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everything, whether it has to do with what I’m feeling at the moment, things happening in society, culturally, or politically.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it in myself and use it to push my artistic career. Being a young, upcoming artist has its challenges and set backs when it comes to entering art competitions, vending events, etc. Nothing comes free, and even as an artist, we have to pay to be seen. I’ve also thought about taking art classes and possibly studying abroad. I would love to be able to go to under funded communities and help push children to do art as an outlet because art heals.
