My favorite art to create is one that expresses subtlety in everyday moments and feelings with a focus on the female experience.
Where do you find inspiration?Often I look at historical/renaissance paintings for inspiration. The use of art for storytelling and education has always been so interesting to me and something I try to pull into my work when I can. I also find inspiration in regular life. As a young person in today's world, I have witnessed tragedy after tragedy in such a compacted amount of time, that its hard to not want to create work that reflects my world in someway.
What would you do with $25,000?My dream for years has been to move to Italy to further my art career and education there. I admire the sanctity of art and it's histories, and the continued value of human creation they uphold. If I were to receive the $25,000 it would be life changing. A true art education is something I long for, and not only could I pursue my dreams of travel, but I could begin to fund the rest of my creative career and support myself to achieve what I truly believe I am capable of.
