Sculpture is my favorite form of art to create because it is very physically and mentally demanding, often requiring my whole body to participate in the creative process. I often lose myself in my sculptures, where hours will pass without my noticing. I find it most satisfying in the end, when I have created something that did not exist before and I can see a part of myself in the work.
Where do you find inspiration?I often find inspiration from nature, history and current events, such as the struggle of a people. Or in an individual's story.
What would you do with $25,000?An award would be helpful in producing additional art work, marketing my art for sale, and allow me to contribute to others.
