my art feels more like fingernails and hair to me. It is my duty to clip it. And up to others to put it in a jar.

I dont like to think of creating “A THING” when I start a painting. Almost all of my paintings begin with enjoying the expression of movement, or the motor mechanics of brush or roller on canvas or paper. I enjoy finding my nostalgic items that link to events and memories of my life. While enjoying the beauty of imperfection and messiness of my inner 5 year old who’s just drawn on the wall with a crayon. I suppose you call that Neo-expressionism, abstract expressionism, and surrealism
Where do you find inspiration? All around me. Most of my paintings are inspired by a specific color that drives the pursuit in creating more around that color. The rest come to me in a scatterbrained kind of way. I dont believe in preference. When it comes to choosing anything, movies to watch, music to listen to, or what to eat or drink. Im open to anything. I’m a believer in cable tv and FM radio. I live and thrive in chaos and any amount of fitting into one square shape hole makes me feel like a star block.
What would you do with $25,000?Any money I get will go probably to rent, ubering everywhere, and ordering chinese food. The rest I’d probably buy a $3,000 motorcycle and a bottle of scotch and use them on separate occasions.
