Photography helps me escape daily life craziness with visual experiences that bring me and others a sense of beauty, peace, and inspiration.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Photography is my favorite form of art because it gives me the power to slow down time. As life moves faster and faster, moments slip by unnoticed, but through a lens, I can capture a feeling, an expression, a fleeting second, and turn it into something permanent. Each photograph becomes a living memory, replaying the emotion of that exact moment over and over again.
Where do you find inspiration? What inspires me most is the feeling of being present in moments that are constantly slipping away. Watching a new day begin as the sun rises and the moon quietly disappears, or seeing the world soften into warm golden tones as evening falls. Those transitions move and push me to create images that preserve those fleeting emotions, turning ordinary moments into something lasting and meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?If I win the $25,000 award, I will invest in upgrading my equipment to expand my creative capabilities in cityscape and landscape photography. I will enhance my online presence to reach a wider audience and fund a personal project capturing overlooked urban and natural moments for a curated exhibition. I will also give back by offering workshops to help aspiring photographers develop their skills and creative voice.
