Like a scout for humanity, I am driven to learn, and art is the loudest voice I have to share my findings.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Well-crafted, detailed, oftentimes bizarre and surreal, multimedia conceptual lessons.
Where do you find inspiration? There may be a general trend in the sources of inspiration, but that is an unfortunate side effect of an inability to be everywhere and consider everything at once. If you are busy looking for something, you are not open to finding anything. I could say “nature, philosophy, biology…” to satisfy the prompt, but I’d be conceding a failure of capacity by listing the categories through which I have restricted myself. My goal is to find inspiration everywhere.
What would you do with $25,000?I am a relentless saver, because I’m young and know that time is the greatest tool for growing wealth. Every dollar that can be set to work today is worth 5 dollars in about 20 years. $25,000 is an investment in my potential as an artist. So far, I’ve been developing a robust investment portfolio on my own, but adding $25,000 would launch me significantly closer to my goal of financial independence. Financial independence means completely honest art, not held back by the need to make a sale.
