Creating is like a breath or heartbeat. I love creating because the creation itself is alive, it is a witness of life to the living.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Expressionistic work. I love letting myself get fully saturated in motion, texture, feeling and movement and just let it go until the disorder becomes defined beauty.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through every bit of life and lived experience. Living through pain and finding ways to endure and rearrange myself to make room for deeper perspectives is a clear and constant source of my art inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it in a lifelong practice of serving others through my creative practice. I am building a lifestyle that offers a safe place for people to address what is within them that wants to be heard and felt. By lifting the lid on the parts that are often suppressed or locked up, we gently begin allowing movement and life to enter into those places. The impact is deeply personal and beneficial but it also ripples out into our families, our communities and the legacy we leave behind us.
