I like to create acrylic landscape paintings with a style that is inspired by impressionist artists and also local folk art from my home in the interior of British Columbia
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the land around me. I live near near Glacier National Park Canada and often take hikes and camping trips here. I immerse myself in the sublime mountain peaks, rushing Illecillewaet River, and wonderful nature and wildlife and this helps me discover myself through my paintings. I am enthralled in the origins of Glacier National Park Canada/ Rogers Pass and love to explore the stories of land through my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to have money to start my artwork on a more professional level. Lately I have only been able to juggle selling and displaying my art between working other jobs and having a busy parenting schedule. I would love to be able to afford more supplies, explore social media outlets to get my business going and any advisory on how to sell my art more professionally.
