What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art lives where architecture meets emotion. I layer cities, spaces, and memories into expressive compositions that feel both built and broken. Sketching is my language—it’s how I think and process in real time. Whether on canvas or a coffee cup, each line captures a moment. For me, art isn’t just the result; it’s a living record of feeling, time, and imagination.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in the spaces between moments—architecture, cities, and everyday life. A shadow on a wall, a conversation, or even a quick sketch during a meeting can spark an idea. I’m drawn to contrasts—old and new, order and chaos. Travel, memory, and emotion all feed my work, but often it’s the unexpected—like a coffee stain or a passing thought—that becomes the starting point of something meaningful.

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d invest it into expanding my art practice—creating a new body of work that reflects where I am emotionally right now. I’d upgrade my studio into a more personal, inspiring space, and produce my books with the care they deserve. I’d also take time for a quiet retreat to reconnect with myself. A portion would go toward supporting emerging artists who lack financial access or are rebuilding after domestic abuse, helping them find stability and a voice through creativity.
