It brings me joy, it allows me to feel, and I learn to see the world in a way nobody else does. Like a child, interested in shiny things.

I love the quiet, and in this loud world, peace is very difficult to come by. I am drawn to, and receive the most joy when creating images that are quiet, almost like moments frozen in time. I would call myself a half-impressionist, in my images, there is a lot left to the heart and the imagination, but it isn't abstracted, the details just aren't the main subject. I love quiet pictures of peaceful, happy skies, warm sunsets, dramatic clouds, and richly colored things.
Where do you find inspiration? My grandma has an amazing imagination; she used to have me look up and find shapes in the clouds, but I only saw clouds when I was little, now I can see what she sees, and what I see in my own way. I am also inspired by other great photographers like Robert Adams, who captures very still and silent scenes of the American West, Ansel Adams, William Eggleston, Ernst Haas, Stephen Shore, Toni Schneiders, and impressionist painters like Claude Monet.
What would you do with $25,000?If I receive $25,000, I would use it to fix our cars, help my family with bills and any emergencies, and pay for us to see distant family again.
