I started on paper with pastels. But once i touched a canvas it was over. Acrylics and canvas is my favorite. But huge sculptures were pretty cool too.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in Pareidolia. That’s when you see faces or things in clouds or tree knots or patterns. I look to the strokes in the background to find my vision. The paint shows me the figures or creatures.
What would you do with $25,000?Start a small gallery. We would sell art to feed the arts in our community. More murals, more building art on the old high rise buildings here in Temple, Texas. We would use art to help people with disabilities.
