A.R.T.Work (Authentic, Rare, Timeless) is wonderful because artists can literally paint the world with a touch of themselves in every piece.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy creating mixed-media art pieces, typically using coloring pencil, ink pen, watercolor, and acrylic paint. I primarily use these mediums, but it varies which ones I choose for each piece; I use whichever one I feel represents what I’m trying to convey the most.
Where do you find inspiration? While I find inspiration from historical artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Hughie Lee-Smith, and Van Gogh, the majority of my inspiration—and what shaped my own personal style—is the world I see around me. I am inspired by the vastness of real life and how I can interpret and represent my view of it onto the canvas or page.
What would you do with $25,000?I will invest in my entrepreneurial and artistic aspirations, allowing me to be better equipped to assist my father, mother, and siblings, as well as others in need from around the world.
