With $25,000 I would seize the miracle every immigrant artist needs: the freedom to paint without the shadow of survival. Arriving without history or map, I have sustained this vocation, deemed “unproductive” in a world that measures everything by monetary value, yet it is the most productive act for what the human spirit and soul truly need. This grant would fund a modest studio, finest materials, and sacred time to create. For one dreamer, it is oxygen. For humanity, it is quiet revolution.
