I love creating art because it gives me the comfort of solitude, expression, and appreciation.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I make teddy bears from fabric remnants and offcuts- each one built like a character with attitude. Every bear has its own personality, its own humor, style, a kind of individuality that makes no two ever the same.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from fashion, people, places, and my own wishes and dreams. Each teddy bear is made with my emotions- joy, heartache, and everything in between- my true labor of love ❤️❤️❤️
What would you do with $25,000?I feel truly grateful to accept this invitation from Johnny Depp, whose love for art and humility I deeply admire- I couldn’t say no. Being chosen to participate was already a wonderful surprise; winning the prize would make it even more meaningful. I would invest it in resources to keep growing and to continue surrounding my life with what I love most- creating, exploring, and expressing myself through art and music in all its forms.
