I created this work to show the culture behind my personality and to express what has shaped who I am today.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy creating portraits and human figures because they allow me to explore emotion, identity, and personal stories through the human form.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my culture, especially traditional patterns, fabrics, and memories from my childhood. I am also inspired by everyday life, people around me, and small emotional moments that are often unnoticed. Nature, light, and color also play an important role in my work. I like to combine all of these elements to create something that feels both personal and universal.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this money to help pay for my school tuition and support my education. It would take away a lot of financial stress and allow me to focus more on my art and my growth as an artist. Instead of worrying about money, I could spend more time developing my skills, experimenting with new ideas, and creating meaningful work. This support would help me stay committed to my goals and build a stronger future through my art.
