I create woodart to help people smile because it hopefully brings out the inner beauty of nature and people.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy creating functional, fun woodart. Whether it's a whimsical funky critter or fish, an eclectic table or rocking chair, a celebration box, or an abstract wooden sculpture they allow me to seek the beauty from within a variety of wood species.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the artistic process from asking "What if..." and then research/study nature. Also other artist renderings of ideas in various mediums to challenge myself to create my own woodart version.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to work with advocates in my community for a start up studio space for wood working artists.
