I make art to wrestle chaos into truth: etching feeling into sound, ink, and light so something raw, real, and lasting survives me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
That's a tough one. I enjoy drawing, but I don't think I'm particularly great at it. I love making music, in particularly, playing hand drums, and I do so whenever possible. But I probably have to choose between poetry and photography, because even though both simple enough mediums that almost anyone can attempt either, only I can mirror the world as I feel and see it.
Where do you find inspiration? In absolutely everything.
What would you do with $25,000?I would take a vacation, help my family with a couple of things, and use the remaining $20,000 to open a sober living facility for recovering addicts.
