My favorite art comes to me in a dream first. My favorite medium to work with is root Burl and even better underwater root burls both have character all on their own and mother nature made each as 1 of a kind. My favorite creativity is sculpture so many inspirations. So many pleasures come in to play developing a sculpture as I am showcasing and understanding it found me and mother nature made it, I have to be on the top of my game to visualize and deliver how it wants to display and live on.
Where do you find inspiration?When I find a piece that I have dreamed about, then I get it in my hands the visions start I don’t know how or why but I get totally energized and sometimes cry with joy. Then It comes from the people how they react when they see my art. I call it (elbow bumps) they quickly react and notify the companion to look bumping elbows or nudging and I read their lips WOW, Or they sit and stare or exchange stories. Even if they don’t buy it with cash they already paid me with a reward better than money.
What would you do with $25,000?Regroup and take a deep breath. Rent a space so I can show my work and mentor and teach others to follow a dream or vision. I am a mix media artist so art classes art mentorship art groups create an environment where art can change lives. My favorite saying is Art Saves Lives. It saved me so I know I can return some favors. And when the 25 runs out it will be financially holding its own and I can hand it over to the next generation and take another deep breath of joy knowing I made a difference.
