I create art to help people feel seen, remembered, and surprised by the beauty and strength in their own story.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is emotional, portrait based photography. I’m drawn to work that feels intimate, cinematic, and personal. Boudoir and fine art portraits mean the most to me because they give people space to reconnect with themselves and see their confidence, vulnerability, and strength in a new way. I love dark, moody images with strong light, shadows, texture, and a story beneath the surface.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, from Greek and Renaissance art to scenic views, music, film, fashion, and contemporary culture. I’m drawn to strong light, dramatic shadows, body language, texture, and emotion. Sometimes inspiration comes from classic art and mythology, and other times it comes from a quiet moment, a bold outfit, a location, or the way someone carries themselves.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use part of the money for needed home repairs, and the rest would go directly back into my photography work. I would improve my studio space, expand what I can offer clients, and fill a few gear gaps that would help me create stronger, more intentional images. It would give me room to build a better creative space while continuing to grow as an artist.
