Art adds a fifth dimension to the hologram we live. Expressing raw imagination in forms that can be shared is grace wielding our magic wand.

It is impossible for me to choose just one! Illustration, photography & painting all deliver their own delicious flavors of experience & satisfaction. Editorial illustration using pen & ink is the most fun for me; cerebral romp with meaning & message. Line quality is as tactile as it is visual. The complexities of photography bring different challenges, affording permanence to glimpses of life & light that would otherwise be ‘here & gone,’ apparitions never repeated. Painting is immersive.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature has always deeply fascinated me. I’ve grown in mountain wilderness, slept on the bottom of the ocean, & flown high high winds. Life’s passion has never found its limit. Visual expression of personal experience grows in proportion to the lifetime lived. As a sport & commercial diver in the ‘80s, then later as an underwater photographer in Hawai’i, I lived thousands of hours amphibiously. Respect for Nature is the message of Project PEACE, started in 1991. Peace inspires my service & art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would advance my provisional patent on “Leché Verdé,” an herbal elixir I started making with the whole Cannabis plant.
