I paint the joyous connections of the intricate energies that unite all, through vibrant street art motifs, and abstract expressionism.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art to create is large paintings that can hold my thoughts. These paintings are a variety of marks, movements and materials that interpret our world as I experience it.

Where do you find inspiration?

My inspiration begins in the natural world, where the genius of creation is seen everywhere and in everything, every growing plant and living creature. Then, as I look to humanity, I see our intense complexity, and our driving need for connection, and my fire is lit. I begin to see essential connection everywhere and at all levels, and I desire to express it.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to study with some of the artist's I love, to improve my craft and understanding, and work alongside fellow artists learning from great instructors. I would also like to study poetry writing in the countryside somewhere.
